Morpheus8 Treatment Guidelines

Refrain from skin treatments (intensive exfoliation, chemical procedures, Retin-A, and retinol products) for 7 days before your session.
Suspend any laser treatments, IPL, sun exposure, and artificial tanning methods for 14 days prior to your appointment.
Inform your healthcare provider about any history of herpes simplex (cold sores) or recurring shingles to obtain necessary antiviral medication prescriptions before treatment.
Male patients: Treatment areas must be clean-shaven, as facial hair can interfere with electrode-skin contact.
Discontinue blood-thinning substances 7 days before treatment (if medically appropriate): Common medications like Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Motrin, Excedrin, BC Powder, Celebrex; and supplements including red wine, fish oil, vitamin-e, green tea, ginger, ginkgo biloba, and flax seed.
Your prescribed numbing cream (Lidocaine 23% + Tetracaine 7%) will be arranged through Apothicare Pharmacy in Lakewood Ranch. They will contact you regarding payment and shipping details for direct delivery.
Treatment day preparation: Clean skin thoroughly and apply prescribed lidocaine 7% + Tetracaine 3% numbing cream to treatment zones 30 minutes before your scheduled time.

Follow aftercare application twice daily for 3 days, then transition to Biogel twice daily
Expect mild to moderate redness lasting 1-2 days post-treatment.
Minimize sun exposure for 2 weeks following treatment to prevent potential hyperpigmentation .
Daily application of broad-spectrum mineral SPF 30+ sunscreen is essential.
Cosmetics may be applied the day after treatment if skin sensitivity has subsided.
Optimal results typically require 3 or more sessions at 4-week intervals.
Please note: Collagen regeneration typically requires 3 months, with continued development up to 9 months following the third Morpheus8 session. Most patients observe skin tightening and textural improvements after their second treatment, with ongoing enhancement through 9 months post-third treatment. Individual results may vary based on age, skin condition, overall health status, and genetic factors.
