About Elite Medical Spa

What is a medical spa?

A medical spa, or med spa, blends the relaxing environment of a day spa with clinical, results-driven aesthetic treatments performed under medical supervision. Services typically include injectables, laser treatments, and advanced skin care that go beyond what a traditional spa offers. At Elite Medical Spa in Parrish, treatments are delivered by trained clinical professionals and overseen by a medical director.

A day spa focuses on relaxation services like facials and massage that do not require medical training. A medical spa offers those relaxing services alongside clinical treatments such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and laser therapy that must be provided by qualified medical professionals. The key difference is medical oversight and the ability to address concerns at a deeper, more corrective level.

Elite Medical Spa is located at 10010 US-301, Parrish, FL 34219. The practice serves Parrish and the surrounding Manatee and Sarasota County communities. You can find directions on the contact page of the website.

Elite Medical Spa is open Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The spa is closed on Sunday and Monday. Hours may vary around holidays, so it is best to confirm when booking.

Treatments are performed by a team of physician associates, advanced practice registered nurses, and licensed skin care specialists. The team includes owner and master injector Jeff Goldstein, PA-C, and Melanie Hartsell, APRN-C. Each provider is trained in the specific services they deliver.

Yes. Elite Medical Spa operates under the medical direction of Rigoberto J. Mendoza, MD, a board-certified plastic surgeon. Medical oversight helps ensure treatments are performed safely and appropriately for each patient.

You can book online through the booking widget on the Elite Medical Spa website, or call the office at (941) 264-7770. You may also send a text message to 941-666-4638. New patients are welcome, and a consultation can be scheduled to discuss your goals.

Yes. A consultation is the recommended first step, especially if you are new to aesthetic treatments or unsure which service fits your goals. During the consultation, a provider reviews your concerns, medical history, and skin, then recommends a personalized plan.

Yes. Elite Medical Spa offers services designed for men, including neuromodulators, body treatments, and skin care. Aesthetic treatments can be tailored to maintain a natural, masculine appearance.

Most injectable and laser treatments are intended for adults, and neuromodulators like Botox are FDA approved for patients 18 and older. The right timing depends on your individual concerns rather than a specific age. Your provider will confirm whether a treatment is appropriate for you during your consultation.

Consultations and Getting Started

What happens during a consultation?

During a consultation, your provider discusses your aesthetic goals, reviews your medical history and current medications, and examines the areas you want to address. They then explain your options and build a treatment plan suited to your needs. It is also a good time to ask questions about what to expect.

The best way to determine the right treatment is through a personalized consultation. Your provider will assess your skin, facial structure, and goals, then recommend options that fit your concerns and lifestyle. Many patients benefit from a combination of treatments rather than a single service

In many cases, yes. Certain treatments, such as a neuromodulator paired with a hydrating facial, can be layered for more complete results. Your provider will advise which combinations are safe to perform together and which are better spaced apart.

Preparation depends on the treatment, and your provider will give you specific instructions. In general, it helps to arrive with clean skin, stay hydrated, and pause certain active skincare ingredients when advised. For some treatments you may be asked to avoid sun exposure or certain medications beforehand.

To reduce the chance of bruising, many providers suggest avoiding blood-thinning substances such as alcohol, aspirin, and certain supplements like fish oil for a few days before injectables, when it is safe to do so. Never stop a prescribed medication without talking to the prescribing physician first. Your provider will give you a personalized pre-treatment checklist.

Injectables

What are neuromodulators like Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?

Neuromodulators are injectable treatments that temporarily relax the muscles responsible for expression lines. By softening muscle movement, they help smooth wrinkles such as forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. Elite Medical Spa offers these treatments through its Elite Tox service.

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all neuromodulators that relax targeted muscles, and they share the same core purpose. They differ slightly in formulation, how quickly they take effect, and how they spread in the tissue. Your injector can help choose the product best suited to your goals and treatment area.

Some patients notice softening within a few days, but it typically takes up to about two weeks for the full effect to settle. Because of this, it is wise to schedule treatment at least two weeks before a special event. Your provider can make small adjustments once the product has fully taken effect.

Results from neuromodulators generally last around three to four months, though this varies by individual, product, and treatment area. Muscle activity, metabolism, and dosing all play a role. Regular maintenance treatments help sustain a smooth appearance over time.

Most patients describe the sensation as a quick, minor pinch, since the needles used are very fine. Discomfort is usually brief and well tolerated. Let your provider know if you are anxious, as they can offer steps to keep you comfortable.

Neuromodulator injections typically involve little to no downtime, and most people return to their normal activities the same day. You may have minor redness or small bumps at the injection sites that fade quickly. Your provider will share simple aftercare guidelines, such as avoiding vigorous exercise for a short period.

Preventative Botox refers to starting neuromodulator treatments before deep, permanent lines have formed, often using lower or micro doses. The goal is to slow the transition of dynamic lines, which appear with movement, into static lines that remain at rest. Whether it is right for you depends on your muscle activity and skin, which a provider can assess.

Yes. Beyond softening lines, neuromodulators can be used for concerns such as jaw tension and TMJ-related discomfort, and Elite Medical Spa offers a dedicated TMJ treatment using Botox and Xeomin. Your provider can explain whether these applications are appropriate for you

Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable gels, often made of hyaluronic acid, that restore volume, smooth folds, and enhance facial contours. Unlike neuromodulators, which relax muscles, fillers add structure and support where volume has been lost. Popular products include Juvederm and Restylane.

Fillers can be used to add volume and definition to the lips, cheeks, jawline, chin, and under-eye hollows, among other areas. Elite Medical Spa offers targeted filler services for many of these regions. Your injector will recommend an approach that keeps your results balanced and natural looking.

Most hyaluronic acid fillers last from several months to well over a year, depending on the product, the area treated, and your individual metabolism. Areas with more movement, such as the lips, may break down filler somewhat faster. Your provider can give you a more specific estimate based on the product used.

A liquid facelift is a non-surgical treatment that uses strategically placed dermal fillers to lift, restore volume, and refresh the face. It can enhance definition and address age-related volume loss without surgery or extended downtime. Elite Medical Spa offers this as the Elite Liquid Facelift.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which breaks down the product. This gives providers flexibility to adjust or reverse results when needed. Talk with your injector if you have concerns about a previous filler treatment.

Neuromodulators such as Botox relax muscles to soften lines caused by movement, while dermal fillers add volume to restore fullness and smooth deeper folds. They address different concerns and are often used together for a comprehensive result. Your provider will explain which is right for your goals.

Facials and Skin Treatments

What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a multi-step treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates the skin in a single session. It leaves the skin looking refreshed and radiant with essentially no downtime, making it a popular choice before events. Elite Medical Spa offers the HydraFacial using the SYNDEO MD system.

Microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, prompting the body to produce fresh collagen and repair tissue. It can improve texture, pore appearance, fine lines, and the look of acne scars over a series of sessions. Some redness for a day or two afterward is common.

Morpheus8 is a treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to remodel deeper layers of the skin. This can improve skin texture while also providing a tightening effect. It is offered as a facial and body treatment at Elite Medical Spa.

IPL, or intense pulsed light, is a light-based treatment that targets redness and brown pigmentation to create a more even skin tone. It is often used to address sun damage, broken capillaries, and general dullness. Most sessions involve minimal downtime, sometimes just a day of mild redness.

Chemical peels use active ingredients such as glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acid to exfoliate the surface of the skin and reveal a brighter, smoother complexion. Peels range from light options with little downtime to deeper peels that address pigment and fine lines. Elite Medical Spa offers chemical peels by SkinMedica.

A vampire facial uses platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, drawn from a small sample of your own blood and applied to support skin rejuvenation. PRP contains growth factors that can help improve skin quality and tone. Elite Medical Spa offers a range of PRP-based services, including the Vampire Facial and Vampire Facelift.

The number of sessions depends on the treatment and your specific goals. Some treatments, like a HydraFacial, offer a refreshed look after one session, while collagen-building treatments such as microneedling usually work best in a series. Your provider will outline a recommended plan during your consultation.

Laser Hair Removal

How does laser hair removal work?

Laser hair removal targets the pigment in the hair follicle, converting light into heat that disables the follicle to reduce future growth. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are needed to treat follicles during their active growth phase. The treatment is offered for many areas of the body.

Most people need a series of sessions, commonly spaced several weeks apart, to catch hair in its active growth cycle. The exact number varies based on the treatment area, hair type, and individual response. Your provider will recommend a schedule at your consultation.

Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction, meaning treated areas grow back thinner, lighter, and more slowly over time. Many patients maintain their results with occasional touch-up sessions. Individual results vary, so your provider can set realistic expectations for your hair and skin type.

Most patients describe the sensation as a quick snap against the skin, and modern devices often include cooling systems to improve comfort. Discomfort is usually mild and brief. Sensitivity can vary by treatment area and individual tolerance.

Many people with sensitive skin are good candidates when the treatment is customized with the appropriate laser settings, technique, and cooling. A consultation and patch test help determine how your skin responds before a full session. Sharing your medical history and any skin conditions with your provider is an important safety step.

Body Treatments and Wellness

What is medical weight loss at Elite Medical Spa?

Elite Medical Spa offers a medically supervised weight loss program that includes the Elite Skinny Shot with semaglutide. The aim is to support both weight loss and long-term maintenance under professional guidance. A provider will review your health history to determine whether the program is appropriate for you.

EmSculpt NEO is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that combines energy technologies to help reduce fat and build muscle in targeted areas. It is designed for patients looking to enhance body tone without surgery. Your provider can explain candidacy and expected results during a consultation.

Yes. Elite Medical Spa offers massage as part of its menu, providing a relaxing option to complement its aesthetic services. Massage can be a helpful way to unwind and support overall wellness.

Safety, Aftercare, and Policies

Are med spa treatments safe?

When performed by trained professionals under medical supervision, med spa treatments have well-established safety profiles. Safety depends on proper technique, a thorough health review, and honest disclosure of your medical history and medications. Elite Medical Spa provides treatments under the oversight of a board-certified plastic surgeon serving as medical director.

Yes. Elite Medical Spa customizes treatments based on your individual concerns, skin, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Your provider builds a plan tailored to what you want to achieve. This personalized approach helps support natural-looking results.

Aftercare depends on the specific treatment, and your provider will give you clear instructions before you leave. Common guidance includes protecting your skin from the sun, staying hydrated, and temporarily avoiding heat-based activities or certain skincare products. Following these steps helps protect your results and supports healing.

Yes. Elite Medical Spa offers membership programs, including a VIP Xeomin membership for $109 per month, or $1,308 per year, which includes 40 units of Xeomin every 90 days plus 10 percent off additional units and other procedures. Additional membership and savings options, such as the Beauty Bank and a Botox membership, are also available. Ask your provider which option best fits your treatment plan.
